I shot my first model last week at a mini strobist meet. I initially let the others take the lead so I could learn from them on how they interacted with the model etc. I managed to get a few shots i'm quiet happy with before the heavens opened and we had to scrabble back to the cars to get out...

Click for much larger I set myself a challenge this evening. At 9.25pm I had an idea for a shot....but Lost was on TV at 10pm (no spoilers please!). I wanted to see if I could get from the house to my location (5 minute drive), get set up, adjust the lights, get a picture, tear all my gear...

I can't fault them. #1 is simply stunning, followed closely by #2. #3 is great, but the first two totally eclipse it
