Welding glass shots: show us what you can do ;)

The green tint is hard to resolve in the camera itself, but if you shoot in RAW you can make adjustments in Photoshop / Lightbox to correct for this.

    3 x 4 Prints - Online

Does anybody know where I can buy 3 x 4 prints online? They need to be this specific size for a photo board that is already purchased in a school. Photos are all ready, but I can't find anybody that will print them at this size. Any thoughts anybody? I bought some before from photobox a...

Welding glass shots: show us what you can do ;)

It's safe to say that a proper ND filter will give you better/easier results. Welding glass puts a green tint on every shot, so you need to shoot in RAW and use photoshop (or similar) to remove the tint. However, having said that, I bought my stuff on eBay for £10 in total (glass and uv filter)...

Just buy the cheapest uv filter with the correct thread size, and a tube of superglue. Then stick one to tuther. Jobs a good un. :-)

Our Xmas card for 2010. Lots of production went into this, not least of which was a 4 hour photo shoot for the main photos in my home studio/lounge! CC welcome. Enjoy, and Happy Xmas to you all. :) Xmas Card 2010 by markbingley, on Flickr

    Norwich meet 11th December

Looks like you all had a great time. Some great photos in there too. The Sally-Ally shot is superb, and the 2nd fire breather is quality. Pin sharp focus on that fire ball. Superb.

    Nikon D90 + SB-600 : Extra slave needed

Can you put a brand/model forward as a cheap reliable set then? If you have one that works well with a Nikon D90, even better. :help:

    Nikon D90 + SB-600 : Extra slave needed

Thank you for all your advice. I have heard horror stories about cheap radio triggers, so I will probably go for a Nissin Speedlite Di622.

Cambridge meet - 21.11.10 (yeah ok i have the month correct now!)

These two are my favorites. You captured the homeless guy very well. Love the DoF, and the B/W conversion works perfectly. Would love to see a larger copy of this one, perhaps on your Flickr sometime? The PP on the second shot is wonderful, and really sets the scene perfectly. I really need...
