    Website check

On brief inspection they seemed legit. The secure padlock by the pay. Guess it teaches us not to be hasty. Wasn’t even the cheapest either. I’d question it more if it was crazy cheap.

Unfortunately it was debit card. 30 min wait to speak to someone from Lloyd’s.

https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/venturedirect.669988/ I know it not meant for in here but could people please let me know if they have had dealings with this company. My partner is distraught over this

    VentureDirect

Hi, I asked my partner for a gimble for Christmas and provided her with a link. Unfortunately the link was www.venturedirect.co.uk and she purchased the order ages ago and still has not returned. We have now only just researched the company and have seen only bad things about it. I have tried to...

    I don't remember saying that!

    700d vs 80d

Thank you very much for that link. I think it's more a worry and that if I had a better camera I have a better chance of getting the good shots. I do like the idea of the wifi so I can use my phone and be sat with my partner rather than leaving her to check and adjust but not sure if it is...

    700d vs 80d

Hi all, hope you are well. I don't consider myself to be anywhere near a profession photographer but the images I have taken with my 700D have been (IMO) really nice. I shoot mainly in AV or manual so I am confident with the settings and function of a dslr. I am off to Norway in Feb and I am...

Wide angle lens, unsure which one

Haha yes, hopefully it'll work wonders. I was look at the canon 10-22 but the f2.8 is what really sold it for me.

Wide angle lens, unsure which one

My girlfriend got the trip for me for my 30th as it's something I have always wanted to do. We are only there for 3 days so hopefully we will catch it. I unfortunately have the 18-135mm lens but I did purchase the 10-18mm which I sold and have purchased the tokina 11-20mm. Even if I don't use...

And yes, that was exactly the location..

    Lake District

Yea, on my computer everything is sharp and in focus other than the background so I guess resizing it has lowered the resolution. Haha, she didn't want to be photographed, we have just hiked up and down a few times and she just wanted a cuppa. It was initially wider as there was a house to the...

    Lake District

I am new to photography and landscapes. I was having a little play with a video I recently saw. This is one I took with my 50mm 1.8 but I used photoshop automated to link about 15 shots together Not sure if this is a good shot or not but I like it as it's my partner in the shot after our hike...

    Tokina 11-20 f2.8

I'm sold, will just have to get the funds. I have found it online in certain places at £350ish but they're all shipping from Hong Kong and I really don't trust it. £499 from Jessops but at least I can always walk into a shop if I have an issue.

    Tokina 11-20 f2.8
