SyncToy from Microsoft is a good free piece of software :)

    So what's the answer?

Signing up for TPS is free and takes all of about five minutes... It doesn't stop people ringing from abroad, but does stop the majority of legit UK businesses ringing - Telesales companies don't want to waste their time ringing people that genuinely don't have any interest in buying, so you'd...

    Website Banner question

Should be saved at the size the banner is, and make sure you're not zoomed into your website (press CTRL+0 to make the page original size). Also check the page isn't resizing the banner itself (check the img tag for width & height parameters :) )

    crit my website

http://www.rjadamsphotography.co.uk/portrait%20gallery.html - Page doesn't work Also, I'd try and fix the gallery image thumbnails so they don't load the whole page at once, it makes for a very slow loading page :) I ran your aircraft images page through Google Page speed for Firefox, it...

    Recommendations for Website Hosting

You'd ditch SmugMug and the others, pay for web hosting (as Neil says above), then either install and configure it yourself - Not overly difficult, but I'm fairly well versed with Wordpress, or get someone to configure it for you. Photocart can be used for the entire site including galleries...

    Groupon - The company killer?

A lot of businesses do rely on the upsell from Groupon's, and that is where the money can be made... I did a write up of Groupon for photographers after seeing a fairly crazy offer on there a while ago and I really couldn't get the offer to make any sort of money, let alone provide a...

    Groupon - The company killer?

The cost of the round of golf was probably just covering costs, but I'm sure a lot of people will have had a drink or some food after their round, which is then profit :)

    Recommendations for Website Hosting

If you want to use that template to do all of your requirements, you're going to need to pay someone a fair wedge of cash to build all of the functions, so I'd forget that idea and write that off as a viable idea. That leaves you with companies as you've already looked at; Clickpic, Smugmug et...

    Groupon - The company killer?

You can limit offers on Groupon - Obviously it's not in Groupon's interest to have businesses limit their offers though, so I'd imagine they try and talk people out of it :)

    Groupon - The company killer?

IMO, they don't "force" anything on business owners, but do try and sell them more than they really should take on - business owners should know when to say no if it's going to damage their business. Groupon CAN, and does work for lots of companies, but the deal has to be thought through before...
