I bought some a few years back and apart from 2 small wins just after I bought them - a big fat nothing but I keep hoping - probably should sell them and put into my ISA :shrug:

Thanks for that, all suggestions always appreciated, sadly as I haven't yet got photoshop am using vista to crop etc :'( I am still taking JPEG's ( bit scared of RAW!!!) :help: Will mess about and put the results on my flickr page although prob should be packing as I go away tonight!!!

They seemed to be racing as there were some out front but I assumed they have to stay as a fairly tight group as the police were only about 100yards ahead. It was the block that fascinated me anyway.:)

Yes, the police were racing ahead to move the traffic and they just flew by. I had literally just come out of a residential home that I visit when I spotted them and grabbed my camera - everyone around looked really surprised as everything went really quiet except the whirrr of the wheels...

Just happened to have my camera in work with me today as I was leaving my job today to go back to Uni! Saw a load of lights coming over the flyover in Seaforth, Liverpool followed by this lot doing about 40 + mph! It was the noise that amazed me most, just a whooshing sound as they flew past...

Only went for the 100 (a bit less bulky I felt) still fits loads in though (including lipstick!!!!!) and am itching to get out and try it! I figure that by the time I get all the lenses etc I want it will have worn out and I will be ready to upgrade to the suitcase version! :)

Just to let anyone who may be interested know... Went into a well known Camera retailer today -not sure if I'm allowed to say who, decided on the lowepro and bought it (incidentally was told buy the salesman that there's a 20% cashback offer) so I was happy to pay the price and claim cashback...

Thanks anyway though, with christmas looming my family won't have any trouble knowing what to get me!!!! Went out this evening really keen with new zoom lens and got NOWT as the light went & Rainclouds appeared as soon as I opened my bag!! :(
