Just bought a Godox AD-S13 boom pole, it has spigots on it actually and threads at both ends.

Exactly that. Some fun family photos with the kids dressed up in fairy/elvish bits, and if I can, a bit of macro.

On-Camera Speedlight modifiers for use at Puzzlewood

The beauty of it is that we are staying in one of their cottages, so get access to the area after it's closed to public :) I'll re-read the rules. Edit: ruiles don't mention flash. They do mention photo shoots, but I'm not doing this professionally so should be fine. @chrism8 yes I was...

On-Camera Speedlight modifiers for use at Puzzlewood

Hi Folks, It's been an age since I was last here but there's always a wealth of knowledge and so I thought I'd request some advice! I'm off to Puzzlewood in a few days for a family holiday (for those that don't know, it's a temperate rainforest that is located in the Forest of Dean). Obviously...

Hi all, Long time since I have been on here what with a break in photography but I have been inspired to get going again. We are considering a holiday in Wales this year during the summer and I was considering as part of that to go that valley place where you can photograph RAF jets doing...

D500 purchase options - paypal 0% credit via ebay?

Hi all, So I'm trying to find a way to purchase a D500 body (my D7000 will then be relegated to 2nd body as it's buffer for RAW 14 bit is so small and AF isn't great on it) as most if not all my lenses are DX format so no point going to D810 or D850 when it's out, or mmmm D5. I was annoyed to...

What have you done with your camera today

Brought it home from my sister’s wedding where I was asked to help out due to the pro not staying for the reception and beyond and then really wanting to kick the pants out of it when I see how poorly I performed (I don’t do weddings and am now quite upset).

    I never knew...

... Just how much my hands shake when holding my camera until I received my tamron af sp 90mm di macro lens today. So much shake! Obviously fast enough shutter speed can mitigate for it but when looking through the viewfinder I was amazed. Glad I have a tripod! I wonder if the vr version...

OTT Home Networks (share your layouts)

I'll do a visio diagram tomorrow during lunch for mine. Liking what I have seen so far. Sadly my switch is just a dumb one so no vlan capability there but it's a decent 3com one, so I don't mind. Pfsense for me too.

    Strobe Gels?

Great place, stage electrics, I probably bought my rosco gels for my par cans from them back in the day. Easy stuff to cut to size.
