    Nikon D750 & D780

Guys, just updated the firmware on my D750 and then went out and shot a gig where i used my 70-200 F2.8 Normally this is a killer lens and have had some great results with it. Didnt seem to get the same level of result last night and was wondering if this new level of firmware has impacted on...

Nikon FX - Which body ?

Price isn't really the issue, within reason as I have a lot of kit to sell on to help fund any future purchase, its more about picking the right FX body and judging by this post a D750 seems to be the one to go for. Which is great news, I now have something to aim for. Thank you to everyone...

Nikon FX - Which body ?

Hmmmm might try and get a D700 as a back up body, but looking at the comments above it would seem the D750 is a hot contender

Nikon FX - Which body ?

I am not someone who winds the ISO up high when I work, I very rarely shoot over 1600, but its things like autofocus performance in low light that is a consideration. That said when I moved from the D7000 to the D7100 I was able to push the ISO a little higher without any noticeable addition of...

Nikon FX - Which body ?

I was surprised to see a D3s at MPB tonight for around £1275 as I always thought they fetched around the £1800-2000 which is why I hadn't considered one. How do they stack up against the latest technology in the D810 for example ?

Nikon FX - Which body ?

I listed all the models, original and upgrade, in case the originals were still contenders as they seem to be good value on the second hand market

Nikon FX - Which body ?

Thanks for the feedback guys, Budget is a consideration, sadly I haven't got D3s or D4s money but I have a few bits of kit to sell to help fund the purchase so anything under £1500 I'd say I am a music photographer so low light performance is critical

Nikon FX - Which body ?

Guys Always shot with a DX body but now I've managed to get the 'holy trinity' of lenses so I am considering a move to Full Frame. But what body ? D600 ? D610 ? D700 ? D750 ? D800 ? D810 ? There seems to have been a flurry of FX bodies come to the market over the last couple of years...

    Nikon 24-70 F2.8 zoom issue

WOW £180 ?? I spoke to Nikon via their website and they claimed they knew nothing of these problems and couldn't give a price I just had to send the lens to them and then wait for the price :(

Nikon D7100 or D700 for low light?

Depends on what you mean by low light performance, what sort of work are you doing ? As a music photographer I am permanently shooting in low light. I've found the D7100 can shoot at ISO 2000 or even 2500 and I get better results than I was with a D7000 at ISO 1600. But I guess some of it...

    Nikon 24-70 F2.8 zoom issue

Wow, the youtube video showed just how straight forward it was, now the thought of waving a small screwdriver near my lens fills me with dread, but if someone is going to charge £300 for that they are clearly taking the p***, the bloke in the youtube video does it in about 7 minutes

    Nikon 24-70 F2.8 zoom issue

Guys, just bought a used 24-70 f2.8 and I've been giving it a work out this weekend and the zoom isn't smooth it feels a little notchy as you pull back down towards the 24mm end. I've seen a couple of people mention this kind of 'issue' in the past. Is it a common fault ? Anyone know what...

Critique First Time Gig Photography - What could I have done better ? (lots of pics)

Why were you shooting at 1/200 ? You could have come down on shutter speed and gone up on aperture to get a bigger depth of field.

    Linkin Park @ The O2

Unfortunately they don't give the impression of a huge band in a big venue, shooting a little wider gives the impression of scale. The images are a bit 'flat' Perhaps a little lightening around the faces would lift a lot of the images as well as removing some of the spurious distractions in...
