    yes for such a small, cheap lens it does give some cracking results! plus the 40mm on the D7000 is a very nice walk-about focal length cheers for the comments guys :)

    if you have the originals you could send over to me i can have a go at editing them and then post you the presets and settings that i used? might be helpful for future editing? in terms of it being an average picture, the third one imo is the strongest and edited properly could make a cracking...

    just a longish exposure, that was shot at f22, ISO 100, 1sec shutter @ 18mm. just wait for the tide to come in and then as it rolls back out it creates the lines. cheers all for all the comments :)

    Thanks for the comments :) I see what you mean now about the third, maybe if i try a lower angle next time to cut out some of the foreground might make for a better image ... noted :thumbs:

    1st looks a little soft to me, 2nd i love! love the comp the light and the detail in the foreground..very nice shot indeed. The 3rd does nothing for me sorry, and looks like its tilting to the left...? cheers Niall
