    Landscape photos with my lens?

Removed by Admin. Unnecessarily rude answer. Not everyone knows the answers. Instead of dismissing someone and sending them to youtube to learn the basics, why not help them learn instead.

    Glen Affric

I've been meaning to get to Glen Affric for a while, but it's a long way for one location. However, as luck would have it a family holiday in the area meant I could get there relatively easily, and in autumn too! Unfortunately I found it a bit disappointing - partly because there was no sunrise...

    Advice on getting started

Not with that camera, but that's not a standard thing with MF obviously.

    Advice on getting started

Yup, film is the exact opposite of digital - expose to the left not expose to the right.

Summer turns to Autumn on the River Tilt

Nope, I don't use grad filters. The sun was still low to the right so the trees at the top weren't getting much light.

Summer turns to Autumn on the River Tilt

    1-Man Tents

Throwing another option in to the ring - DD Tarptent. It's small but very light - you use walking poles as the tent poles, so if you carry those already (they're great for hillwalking) you save that weight.

    A weekend in Snowdonia

Cheers folks :) f8 and be there as they say! Very tiring, but worth it. I knew I'd be having a wee bivvie on Pen Yr Ole Web but decided against taking my sleeping bag up just for a couple of hours. Mistake - it got bloody cold. Still, I must have drifted off because I opened my eyes with the...

    A weekend in Snowdonia

I've posted a sunrise and an astro shot already from last weekend, but here a few more from what was a busy, tiring (long drive and sleeping on a hillside and in the car), but, for me, successful weekend. First off was a quick stop at Cwm Idwal just to kill some time before heading for the...
