It might not be much help but my Nikon 85 f1.8g is sharp right through. There is either a problem with your copy (I hate that term) or your camera needs some fine tuning adjustment for the lens. Never had an issue with CA with this lens though.

I think I paid about £80 for 100 swabs, i know you can get them cheaper but these are branded. What can I say, I'm a dirty northern monkey.
