this was the second top for the day, it took me 2hours 20 to get up to the first one, then another hour to get along to here.

these shots were taken from the cairn near the top of Sgurr nan Ceannaichean today, at 913m in a temp of of around -10. the shot/s overlooks Achnashellach and Torridon hills.
they were taken with a g10 and photomerged in CS3, i wish i'd taken the 5Dmk2 now.............

from memory, the slioch shot was taken with a 5dmk2 and a 14mm L lens.
it was a combination of 5 exposures using photomatix HDR software. f14 aperture and exposures ranging from 1/20th to 1/250th..... hope this helps.

here's a couple of shots from this afternoon. they've been HDR'd because at -9, i didn't fancy hanging about until sunset.
they aren't great, but it was the first time i've been out in weeks due to being snowed in!!!!

it's just a theoretical exercise as far as i know, a colleague at work asked me if it could be done, i reckoned anything is possible but didn't know for sure....
it was something to do with a competition she was entering where the entries had to be either film...

is it possible to edit (photoshop) a raw file without anyone being able to detect that it was tampered with?
