Very lovely images but I'm fairly sure you're making most of those names up.

1st one, great lead in lines, and last 3 are my favourite. The ones of Applecross are great, very dramatc, but all of them very good imo. :) Shame about the lighting in some of them though, the white sky in the Eilean Donan one for example. Any way to get some detail back?

I love number six, the different tones to the mountains are great.

Really makes me want to go back the the west coast again.

thanks craig - could do, but it was pretty much a white out - weather in skye the first week was pretty terrible

Has to be the Camusteel pano for me.
An absolutely classic image, lovely light.

I will admit to being slightly biased, my Mum lived in Camusteel for 5 years and that view always astonished me, especially in winter. I can name most of those peaks and have been up a lot of them too.
I've just got back from a visit to the other side of those mountains. See my Diary from the Isle of Canna thread for some images of those mountains from a different direction.

Thanks for sharing your panos with us - Duncan

top class shots, make me realise I still have a lot to learn

cracking images, nice to see some different Scottish scenery.

love them.I am going to Skye and Hebrides in May.Looking forward to seeing all the amazing scenery.

Love them all. I hope to be able to put my 50D to such good use. :)

thanks :)

They're all beautiful! (y)

Excellent set of images, I like all of them!

The only niggle I have is that the sky in the first one could do with the colour turning down a couple of notches, seems a bit too blue.

thanks v.much, note taken :)

cheers all

Some really good shots there, I love a good pano personally. These remind me why I love this country so much.

really like these, did you use slight HDR or is it just level tweaking?

Some really lovely shots there. Numbers 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7 are stunning. It's a shame the foreground in the first one is a little untidy.

Are these numerous images stitched together to form a pano or single shots.
Top stuff

Superb shots - love the one of the Cuillin. Been walking/scrambling there and it's an amazing place.

Quite tempted to buy a print off you actually.

Hey, Eilean Donan Castle, not from the usual angle!
I was beginning to think there was a rule against that sort of thing....

Great set, I'm inspired.

Thanks very much

Some lovely shots there.

We are often up at Applecross and the dogs love going to Sand........

These are very, very impressive shots.

I've a couple of terrible shots from my hill walking in the highlands (lived in Inverness for four years) but none of them come even close to this.

Expecting my new camera this week so I'll be making sure to get some better shots when I return in the summer :)

Stunning series, loved looking at them all (y)

Trully stuning images. I love panoramic format. If you don't mind answering few questions:
1) are these stitched from few images or cropped?
2) in case of shooting few images and stitching, what focal length are you using?
3) in case of shooting few images and stitching, do you adjust NDgrads and exposure or keep all the settings the same?

Thanks a lot.

Stunning set, I was up around Loch Duich early last year and these images just make me want to go back (y)
