I was wondering if I should swap my 5d Mk2 for a 1d Mk3. Having owned both cameras, I much prefer the 1d3 as I have no need for HD video and higher MP.

That would be HDR looks a little over saturated, maybe tone the strength down a touch too, but all in all a good execution

When using the 40d With the grip make sure the on off switch on the main camera body is all the way to the top and not in the middle position. The middle position disables some buttons / dials on the main body and the grip to prevent acidental operation.

H Lehmann in Stoke are ok, had a small issue sending a body in for service but they quickly sorted the issue. Or call Jackie at the Canon RCC in Elstree, not sure of the number from the top of my head but will post a reply with it.
