I've narrowed my choice down to these two. The Canon seems the obvious safe choice, but I'm curious about the exr sensor. Is it any good? I'll mainly be using it out on the mountain bike, so will the exr be better in low light when using it in the trees? Is it worth the extra over the canon...

I did wonder about that when i was cleaning it, but assumed it would be pricey. Amazon have the latest version of the printer for around £67, which when you price in the inks, would render the new print head out of the equation. Cheers for the link though :thumbs:

True. Either way i need a new printer. I know i won't be printing that many at the A3 size, but it would be nice to have the flexibility

Our canon pixma 4300 has just died. Multiple head cleans, fresh cartridges, etc and it's still not printing correctly. Not that impressed given it's quite young and had an easy life. Anyway, rant over, we need a new printer. Had a quick look at the epson and canons. Not loyal to either despite...

It seems like the ideal replacement for my D80. I have toyed with getting the D90, but i can wait a bit longer and see how the price comes down. The better performance in low light/higher iso is the main reason for wanting to upgrade

I've been using a Lowepro bag attached with carabinas to my chest straps. Mainly for mountain biking as shown below, but i have used it for walking. I can only fit 2 slots of ddr3, so would be limited to 4gb. Or 8gb of ddr2, which i would upto 1066 which the board can handle
