I find, they can be, not too the exact minute or so, but often, if i wait long enough, they appear at the same spots.

Sat for a few minutes, at a shrub in flower and got a few pictures of this hoverfly

I got to hold the EOS-R today and it, just felt so nice in my hands, i am about a year away from getting a new camera, but i know, it will be a Canon.

If you ever see me, when you are out taking pictures, around Ayrshire and would like to see, what a 5D is like to hold and have a shot at, please feel free to ask,, i use mine for a bit of everything..

I have taken around a thousand less, than last year, till this point in the year, if i had not been out chasing butterflies and dragon and damselflies, this would have been even less, but my total is , just around, the 2,750, mark,

I bought, a Lee Filter 0.9 reverse grad, the other day, looking forward, to giving it a go.

I had, quite a good night, standing in a field, in Ayrshire, cloud came rolling in, a few times, but, was great to see, i was there for about 4hrs, managed to get a few pictures, as well. which was a bonus.

Looks like a Sigma 180mm lens for macro work, will be next buy for me..
