I often get upwards of 20 goldfinches devouring the sunflower hearts I put out. That is until yesterday when I sat down to do the RSPB Garden Birdwatch and just saw 3 of the buggers!

Out of interest how are you getting there? The ferry doesn't go on the 19th according to the timetable.
I am visiting North Devon next week and wondered if anyone had any advice on good places to go for wildlife photography? I'll be staying near to the west side of the forest.
I'm hoping to visit Lundy to see the puffins and other seabirds on one day.
