Lovely capture Mark, what a beaut!

I often get upwards of 20 goldfinches devouring the sunflower hearts I put out. That is until yesterday when I sat down to do the RSPB Garden Birdwatch and just saw 3 of the buggers!

Took this one in Exmoor last week: A banded demoiselle, but I'm not sure if male or female?

I am visiting North Devon next week and wondered if anyone had any advice on good places to go for wildlife photography? I'll be staying near to the west side of the forest. I'm hoping to visit Lundy to see the puffins and other seabirds on one day. Thanks, Phil

Fair enough, if I'm fortunate enough to get there again I'll try it with the hood! I did end up with green paint on the rim of my filter :D

Not at this place I'm afraid, the hood sets you too far back from the mesh so it ends up in shot.
