    Wow, had to go into the basement to find/resurrect this thread. I've been having a bit of GAS lately but then I pick up my "ancient" D700 and equally "ancient" Sigma 105 macro with no OS and I get this... I guess I'll hang on to it for a bit longer.

    We're a bit fortunate over here in that we have plum blossoms in late March, then these about the start of the second week of April and in a few days we'll have another variety of cherry tree that has pinky-red multiflora blooms. Those will last for about a week and then it's wait 'til next year.

    In regards to the OP’s question; I haven’t noticed that it does that. I have a D750 and a Sigma 105 nonOS lens and the aperture stays where I put it.

    I have a D700 and wear glasses with progressive lens (multi focal.) I have no problems using the camera.
