I did see a couple of Oyster Catchers but didn't have my camera on me at the time. And all the Storm Petrels were still out at sea.
I was told that in a months time the place is teeming with birds. Story of my life!
On a recent business trip to the Shetland Islands I got to play with a 70-200 2.8L and these are the shots.
I've never photographed birds before so be gentle! I think they are Fulmar Petrels, but I'm not sure.
Some are quite large crops as the cliffs were a bit distant.

I like it, but it's a bit too strong with vignette for me.
Composition is a little off, I would prefer them to the left a little, plus there's a bit too much headroom.
All IMO of course.
I realise the camera applies a little sharpening. I haven't seen any reason (yet) to change the settings from the default.
I do think it's a little odd that Lightroom applies some sharpening as a default though.
