    Camera USB chargeable

A friend of mine is off to Kilimanjaro next year. She already has a solar monkey and was asking me what cameras can be charged via USB. She has an old Nikon DSLR and a more recent Panasonic superzoom but neither of them allow it. She's looking for a more compact camera preferable inexpensive but...

    Product Photography Workshops

Hi I’ve taken a few shots of products that we have for sale, but would like to have some sort of training. Does anyone know of any workshops/courses in the South East area? Thanks in advance David

Thanks Garry, and everyone else for their help. I think I'll order the Lencarta tonight and start my learning curve

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

One key thing that I just thought of, some of the products that I aim to photograph have glass and will reflect. Would that make a difference whether to get a flash kit or a set of continuous lights?

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

Does that make the Interfit a better choice for product photography? As far as I'm aware they are continuous sources of light.

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

I have read somewhere that by using flash you do remove the dullness of products like some we see on ebay, but don't quote me on that. I'm just learning. I think the lencarta will do what I want plus some, but when you start it's all a bit overwhelming,

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

In newbie terms, how would that affect product photography?

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

Silly question, with the Lencarta, can I use it as continuous lighting as well as flash?

    Lencarta vs. Interfit

Hi I've narrowed my starter kit lighting solution to a couple brands, could you guys help me make a decision? Budget is £300 max. Initially it will be used for product photography, but I might use it for larger objects in time. I have looked at the Interfit 150 MKIII and 200...

    Technique to showcase craft products

I've been reading a bit on the subject and I was toying with the idea of getting an interfit exd200 studio kit and a black background, I figure with the objects being white it will be easier to remove the background on gimp, or pain.net. I already know how to do this so there shouldn't be too...

    Nikon 18-105

I quite enjoy the 18-105, although I've been thinking about getting the sigma 18-250 which weights and measures roughly the same and stretches quite a bit further.

    Technique to showcase craft products

I thought I'd add a couple pictures I've taken a few years ago with a Kodak Superzoom. This is kinda what I'm after but much better, these where taken only with a tripod and a black sheet behind it, plus I had a guitar stand to help keeping the bass in that position...

    Technique to showcase craft products

I'm not too sure how to explain my questions, hence the title being a bit unclear. A little bit of background. My wife has started to create some handcrafts that she intends to sell online. She wants me to take the pictures of her handcrafts and that’s where things get complicated...
