    Nifty Fifty Snaps

http://www.cameraworld.co.uk/ - £80 Super fast delivery, too. There's a guy named kerso on here though, he sells stuff a lot cheaper and everybody seems to use him. But he doesn't specialize in Nikon stock so it might take him awhile to get it. Just PM him.

Nikon. Haven't heard much about the Sigma one but I can't recommend the Nikon enough.

    Today at work

I clicked this because I was hoping to see somebody clowning around in an office or something. Anything to try and make me feel like MY job isn't the worst out there and it turns out that you, Sir, seem to have a pretty awesome job. Congrats. I hate you. :bat: My favorite is the silhouette too.

    Essential viewing.

Quite like "Cult of Personality". Can't say that I've heard too much of their stuff. You get a thumbs up from me for the AC/DC DVD though.

    Nifty Fifty Snaps

So I've had it like, a couple of days now and I'm in love. Haven't had much chance to go mental with it yet but I've played around with it a bit (been getting used to my tripod too) and I'm so impressed with the clarity and sharpness of it. Can't believe I didn't buy one sooner. Just general...

Inspired to go out and take photos..

Great line, made me laugh. 3 & 6 are my favorites.

My 365 - Well everyone else was doing it...

My first look at this 365 malarky, dunno if I'd be able to do it myself. Might try a little private test-run though. I really like the Day 5 path shot, keep it up.

    GCSE Photography

Haven't heard of an A Level in Photography (probably just my ignorance) but if you wanted a career in Photography then a National Diploma is along the same lines. You can enrol on a National Diploma (ND) in Photography so long as you have at least a 'C' in Maths and English. Least thats how it...

My first batch of black and white photos

2nd and last are my favorites. I have a possibly unhealthy obsession with leading lines though. The ducks one is nice too but I'd crop or clone out that 'blob' in the water near the top. Little distracting for me and the rest of the picture is nice and peaceful.

Dudley Zoo & Castle (first shots with my sigma 70-300)

I went Dudley Zoo last year and it was my first outing with my 70-300 as well. I like the steps. I'm getting into B&W photos lately. Has quite a lot of depth to it. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more though, even if you think they're bad. The Lemur one is good, nothing wrong with it as an animal...

New York City - NO 56K

Some great shots, makes me want to visit. Although kinda not at the same time because it looks like a place that has a great photo op at every turn so its kind of a mind-blower but so much so that it'll make you go crazy. If that makes sense. :bonk: Some iconic shots here though, the one with...

    (Another) My First HDR Attempt

St George's Day celebrations in Birmingham today so I had a rather long day walking around taking pics. Good fun. Might upload some of them at a later date and show people but people seem to upload great photos on here with no fear so I'm a lickle shy in that respect :suspect: But this is my...

    How chuffed am I!

Great to see a project come together. Would've have the guts to attempt something like this myself for fear of messing something up huge and losing money on it. Hell, I was peeved when my home-made lightbox didn't quite turn out right. But its nice to see somebody getting their hands dirty and...

    How To Archive...

I just create a folder for the shoot (eg: Yardley Church) and there's 3 folders in that folder. So inside the Yardley Church folder there is "RAW", "FINALS" and "WEB". "RAW" is obviously the RAW files with the XMPs. "FINALS" is the finished article saved as JPEG ready for print or whatever and...
