Hi all, i'm using a rather long in the tooth padded manfrotto 90cm tripod bag which is good but I'd really like something with external (and preferably internal as well) pockets.
Ideally in the 80-90cm range and needs to be padded to an extent and ideally semi rigid. Not something flimsy that...
Hi all,
Finally added another z6ii to my kit. First time i've managed to have 2 of the same camera for about 8 years which is a definite advantage when dual shooting events and weddings. I've moved from a d810 + z6ii so the d810 will be purely backup (I found i was constantly favouring the z6ii...
aye, did this but just not happy with the way it sits. Also, i can't remove/put back a bottle in that pouch whilst i'm actually walking which was a big part of my 'routine' with the previous bag.
thanks, not the worst idea in the world. The trouble is it kind of flops around whilst i move about which is annoying, compared to when it's fixed in by the netting. I know i'm being a fussy bugger! thanks though
Hi all, had to replace an old lowepro so went for the 450aw ii. Love it, but hate the fact that it doesn't have any netting bottle holding pouches on the side, like my previous bag.
I'm so used to being able to reach behind me and grab my bottle whilst walking and really miss it! I realise...
as someone who's mainly an event / wedding photographer (well, hoping to get back into that this year!) but recently has been doing property photography, is there any reason to go for the z7ii over the z6ii? Would be getting rid of my d810 and pairing a mirrorless with a d850 for now. Or better...
Hi all, sorry for non response. I appreciate your replies (although yeah, i'm not gonna be spending 70 quid for this. I think i should have a speedlight pouch somewhere so might try putting a strap on that, although i kind of wanted something that could accommodate triggers as well. I'm going to...
aye, it's a possibility, though i was hoping for something as small/bespoke as possible as i'll have to carry it within my main lowepro camera backpack any way. So smaller the better really! Did you have a small bag in mind?
Hi all, over the past few months i've been making my money doing interior property photography (bye bye weddings and events :( ). I tend to have a speedlight in my hand most of the time, but the trouble is i'm also carrying around my tripod and camera and often having to clasp the speedlight...
So, I thought I was done. I really did. After a few years acquiring Nikon dslr's (850 and 810) and various high end lenses, i truly felt happy with my setup. I still do.
So, why the hell am I getting ever closer to deciding to buy a Z6II mirrorless? Arggh.
i've had my d810 and 750 out in pretty heavy rain and it's been absolutely fine although i think it's best to try and avoid such things whenever possible!
had a good event last weekend and used a lot of flash. Realised that my yongnuo flashes were slightly limiting and slow to recycle. Came home and ordered a 250 quid godox v1 + accessories kit and i suspect i'll be getting another in due course!
1.8 is only 1 stop below 2.8. Just saying ;)
Any way, i've had both the 16-35 f4 and the 14-24. My 16-35 was great, super sharp and I loved the vr. 14 is noticeably wider, but the 16 can be had for half the price, is lighter and takes filters! I probably should have kept mine to be honest.
hi all, i don't suppose there's a way to have custom viewfinder grids on the d850 is there? I've got a job tomorrow where the brief is for quite specific wide / tall banner size images and it'd be great if i could have tighter grids on the viewfinder to ensure that i get the best possible...
