Cheers Tom that's a relief, at least it's prob not a fault with camara, and to Simon the grip just takes the two batteries, only put it on today as battery was a bit low but do think Tom has hit nail on head. Thanks.

I believe you prob right at that as I don't recall it without the grip on, not that I do much really, partner bought it me it says Nikon on it but it says made in Thailand! Nikon corp Japan. Thanks.

Thanks for that, really appreciate your advice and help. Got a sony vaio laptop and it as a calibration program on it so just followed what it said and it has darkened it down so I will try another print, may not be as good as ones you can buy but will see. Thanks
