    Lightweight backpacks...?

Just wondering what lightweight backpacks there are out there, and if anyone has any thoughts on the matter. Specifically in relation to aircraft carry-on weight limits. Usually in-cabin baggage is restricted to dimensions - which most backpacks sail under without much trouble (in fact are...

Final Cut Pro X is killing my mac....

just skimming this thread so might have missed if you said so but I'm wondering - are you running with an attached drive at all? Timer Cable Releases - options?

Just wondering if it's possible to find out what card was used by looking at the exif in a raw file at all. I shot a job recently and have a couple of bad sectors on a memory card but can't figure out which one it is...I'd rather not find out the hard way and a duff shot in an important moment...

    Mono Lake sunset

Very nice result all the same. I love the tones you've captured. On a slight side note; as cameras go how is the GF1? I'm considering it as a small alternative myself. do you use the video feature on it at all too?

    Compendium

What a great series of images. I love the tones applied to some of those too, softens what could easily be too harsh if not done right... :D

    Porth Nanven/Lands End sunset

Seems like I wasn't the only one down that way. No clouds to speak of when I was there to add dimension to the sky but you could see all the way out beyond Lands End and the rocks went a fantastic colour with the last moments of sun on them Here's a slightly wider view showing the bay and...

    oh no...more bluebells!!

Remember bluebells aren't actually blue but just off into violet. plays havoc with the blue channel when processing sometimes too, so you know.

    oh no...more bluebells!!

yeah, there's actually a couple of spots at Micheldever that have LOTS of bluebells. one not actually part of the area where you park the car and walk up from... agree about them not being at their best though, I'm finding that :(
