    Thanks I admit the presence of the ugly watermark is upsetting, but we don't have very strong copyright laws in Pakistan, and its sad to see my photos in/on calendars, political posters, milk cartons and biscuits without any credit, with the watermark cloned/cropped out!

    But surprisingly the 'repair' took a day as all it needed was a bayonet mount replacement... I also got student discount! :-) No labour charges as I sent them a copy of my student ID! :-)

    10.5mm is excellent. Surprisingly on fx it works pretty well too. Im currently stunned by the samyang 8mm f/3.5 Has anyone here tried the tamron 10-17, heard its the only fisheye zoom!

    Dear Gary, I've been using a D700 since it came out, and I don't think its good for wildlife photography, as its not supposed to be for it in the first place. The D7000 is merely a D90 upgrade, and cannot be compared with the D700. But considering the OP's budget and plans, it seems to be a good...
