Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the feedback. I agree, number one was probably the only shot I was truly happy with, whilst the others were quite good but not great imo.
That would've been great had there been someone on the bench! I think I will try some different crops, as it stands the photo...
Thanks :) there were a couple I noticed (which might just be limited to 4x5). The film sheets were noticeable thinner than normal film and red lights have a slight halo on them. However, I love the film overall, especially the tonality. It's an ideal night-time film, not just because of the...
Thanks :) I really hope they do a full production run of Cinestill 800T in 4x5 as well as 120, it's always a good sign to have new films come out at a time like this!
Thanks! Yeah I see what you mean about three.
Thanks! After having looked at their site and their magazine it seems they don't do much photography stuff, but the rules were open to any medium. I've got a screenshot of some of their covers from their website (hope it's allowed to post here) to...

The first is a figure in doorway and the second is an oil rig in the distance. They're minimalist, if you were able to see exactly what was going on there'd be less of a sense of mystery.
Of course I don't mean everyone should recalibrate their monitors just for my photos. What I mean is that they look great on my computer monitor but I find them much too dark on my phone screen, for example.
I feel like the wires and aerials add extra interest to the composition, I never intended it to be a fine art architectural shot. I just liked the scene in front of me and decided to photograph it. So as normal photographs they have no merit at all?
The location, whether it be Cuba or Mexico, is largely irrelevant to the images. They are abstracts yes but beyond that I haven't tried to convey a particular message as such.
