    Critique Spider in the Garden

At present i have the on camera popup flash and a separate speed light. To take these shots hand held I had to switch to a high iso to keep the shutter speed to a reasonable setting to be able to take the shot.

Home Printing / Printing in a lab?

Thanks everyone for your advice. My main reason for asking was I normally only want to print a few images at a time. To make it feel cost effective I need to wait and batch up 10 - 20 print to justify the £8:50 delivery charge. There is also the beauty of being able to get an instant result. I...

Home Printing / Printing in a lab?

Hi I am starting to produce work that I would like to print A3 size. At preset I have an all in 1 print that produces average photo prints unto A4 (but the printer was not brought as a photo printer). Long exposure in camera processing.

I am trying to keep my ISO as low as possible (low 100's) by extending the exposure time. I'm guessing the best way to see the difference is to take two shots and compare them afterwards. Thanks again to everyone for you advice.

Ok, thank you for that. Do you know what the affect in IQ is when you turn this off?

    Long exposure in camera processing.

I know this is going to sound like a daft question. But can anyone tell me why the camera takes as long to process the image after the shutter closes as it did to take the original shot? I am experimenting with some low light photography with an exposure of about 10 minutes, but this is taking...

Looking for a remote timer trigger for my Canon 7d

Thank you everyone for you all your advice. I have settled for a cheap and cheerful generic wired remote. This should get me started, can wait for it to arrive to start to play. Will post some images when I have had a chance to play.

Looking for a remote timer trigger for my Canon 7d

I have started doing some late night photography. I have reached the 30 second limit for setting the camera shutter speed and I know I now have to move to bulb mode. Can anybody recommend a reasonable priced remote trigger with timer for a Canon 7d. I see Canon sell a Timer Remote Controller...
