I brought a 100-400 mk 1 and love it blows my 70-200+ tc out of the water!!! Best lens I own!! at £650 ish it's had not to consider it admittedly I would have loved them mkii but it's just silly money at the moment

I Tired a better stack but unfortunately the guy has now seen better days no legs one wing it didn't make much of a photo so will have to wait for the next chance I get on something else

That also makes me wonder what id get if reversed the 105 ???
Might try doing it again with 5.6 as it's a wide as the lens will go with the tc on it and stack up a few more images see how much more detail I can get.. If anyone really wants more ewwwwww.. have some extentjon tubes coming soon too so might save this little x critter :-) for a retake :-)...

The colours on it are really nice and its nicely lit
it was well worth braving the rain!!
personally i am not keen on the Vignette effect think it spoils it a little.

no its not stacked its a single shot at f10 1/250th at nearly 1:1 think its just under il have to have a look and see if i have some more with the legs in focus cant remember. the next...

The little guy was stunned after me managing to hit him while bussing round he then landed right in the middle of my white paper on the table and lay there for 20 mins while i took photos and...
i prefer it in B&W the original just seems a little washed out but as TheAndyA said it looks better on flicker probably down to the white background here
