FotoFusion is very good for this sort of thing (and lots more) as it has an auto collage feature that can create a page of however many images you want to select and does it in seconds and then you can drag and drop them to different positions on the page and edit it in all sorts of other ways...
That's the point though, it doesn't really matter if he is the primary or second shooter, the way he is dressed its easy to imagine that the primary would be dressed similar if that wasn't him.
Would be really great to hear the full story behind this but I doubt it will ever come out.
Very badly handled by the officiant, although its hard to tell if anything had happened before the incident because the clip is so short. He could quite well have asked them nicely to move or stop making a noise half a dozen times before this but that clip would never get released because the...
TBH I believe that's more down to the photographer than the B&G in most cases .... that's not me blowing my own trumpet either, I am just thinking back to when I was inexperienced and I know I probably wouldn't have gotten this shot as I wouldn't have had the confidence to convince them to go...
Yeah I was trying to limit how much gear was exposed to the rain and also keep it simple by having one flash on top of the TT1 on camera.
TBH though if I did have my other light off camera I probably wouldn't have moved it much anyway as I don't like shadows on their faces for this sort of...
Normally you would be correct but one of the advantages of pocket wizards (and some other systems) is that you can shoot at much higher shutter speeds than that, supposedly right up to 1/8000th
That wasn't needed in this case so the shutter speed was only 1/200th. I set it that way partly...
Cheers for the comments peeps.
- Regards the veil, yup I agree it would be better if it weren't so blown and when it comes to processing the raws (these are just camera JPGs we use on the wedding day) I may try and paint some detail back in from one that I took when the back light didn't go...
Didn't get much time for couples photos yesterday during the day so I was determined to get a few more after the wedding breakfast but by then it was raining quite hard so it was a case of making lemonade from the lemons.
Couple of pics of the bride and groom and then one that shows Jeff...
I think the crop is fine, I think one eye shots can work well enough .. the problem for me is that it doesn't really tell a story .. its just a picture of an eye and a nose in a mirror.
If you could see a make-up brush to her cheek or mascara brush to the eye I think it would tell a story be a...
I like most of them on the blog, the first two in particular, the shadow shots, the holding hands, and the last 3 or 4 on the blog looks nice and intimate.
Not a fan of the grass shots where their faces are hidden/partially hidden.
The two pics where you have shot them individually with a...
Lovely pics of a fantastic part of the UK.
Grib Goch is definitely not one for the feint hearted. There's not actually that much climbing/scrambling on it, its just that some bits of the ridge are very very narrow and some bits that you do have to use your hands and feet on have spectacular...
Don't get too defensive Matt, the point that others are making is that many of the shots shared here aren't really what some of us would call your shots because the pro has basically set the shot up ..... you have just stood alongside or to one side and got a decent exposure of the scene he/she...
