I quite like the thought of photographing events on film - rather than a few snapshots here & there over several weeks (or months)

Recently I've gone out with the QL17 & X100f - I need to keep both out though or I forget what's in the bag :ROFLMAO:

Dog wont settle and woke the Mrs up, so she woke me up(who had not heard a thing), to see what was wrong

I've got one like that but thought my shot wouldn't come out nice (just a record shot) so didn't bother to remove my bike :mad:

 :$:(

The bike tells its own story. I don't think it detracts.
(y) There can be "magic" using film with a combo of lens and film, as I have noticed quite a few times the results are better than you see by eye.......esp 3D and with the excitement of seeing the results back from the developers..............erm well OK it can also be worse.:(

Me on the right. A works do for this lady's 65th at an "unlimited" brunch. Yes I am inebriated. Just a snapshot but reminds me of a great afternoon out and how much fun a Minox sub-mini is. These have renewed my interest in Minox 9.2mm (8x11mm neg size) and I will be slitting film and reloading cassettes again very shortly.

Had a nice day messing about today, messed up with the film loader a couple of times putting film on back to front, tape coming off etc but the capability to load short rolls is great for me. Testing out a developer and new film at the same time is not Ideal, in fact daft. While mixing up today's batch of FX 55 1+1 I went to put in the ascorbate and then realised that yesterday I had mixed the phenidone quantity for 500ml but put in the ascorbate for 1tr. Doh, I do like the effect though and will pocket that for the future.

The grain on this film is the finest that I have seen on my old scanner so far. On the higher res scanner there is no visible grain hardly.

The acutance of the FX 55 1+1 has also impressed me

Remember this post about the failure of my DIY TLR? Like a glutton for punishment, I tried again, this time with added tape in one particular spot.

I'm actually really pleased with how they came out, all things considered

A kind contributor to F&C (who's name I can't easily remember) gave me one of those kits. I thoroughly enjoyed building it but found it infuriating to try, and fail, to focus it. When I'm back from a couple of short breaks I'll put it up for free on the forum if someone wants to have a play with it. I've kept the box, instructions etc.

This is the second time I've walked this track (although it was in the opposite direction last time). On the previous occasion it was after a lot of rain and the track, a bridlepath, was six inches deep in horse-trodden mud.

I watched this chap wandering about on the beach, he seemed preoccupied. You know like when you were a kid and and you used to get pebbles and skim them across the water, he was doing that. I missed the money shot, arm launching the stone, as he was at the top of the beach trying to throw stones into the sea. I was concerned for the kids on the beach who could possibly get hit.

Going out with purpose tomorrow.
I feel that I have got how to look at the scene, I've fitted a reflective metering head to my meter so going to take one of my old manual cameras out with Fomapan so that I can prepare for large format with fomapan.

Anyhow here's one for next months theme twisted, Looking for all things twisted .
