My QL17 is silver. Sort of makes me glad the X100f is black

I must confess, I bought a black Vi because I had a black F and so it was easier to smuggle into the house...I then saw a silver version in Derby LCE and thought "Should have bought silver and payed for the divorce!"

X100 arrived yesterday. I've popped a couple of recipes on it, going to go out with it later. Feels very nice in my hand, and the AF is very fast indeed! First impressions positive

Had a wander with the X100 last night… I used the Lisa Portinari recipe, these are pretty much SOOC apart from a little bit of cropping and straightening.

I like it, but I'm glad I borrowed before buying. I was worried that it would make my X-T4 feel like some sort of behemoth, but actually I had a play with that last night too and it felt a lot more comfortable in my hand.
I think it's made me want an X-T5 even more than I did before, I love the colours on the newer sensor
And I think I'm going to keep my 18mm lens rather than look for a 23; there have been a few times where the X100 just wasn't quite wide enough...
