Anyone been , going in oct
 
Been there twice, 2010 & 2013, you can get the ferry from Fethiye, nice relaxing ride, I'll have a look on my PC tomorrow, and post a few photos, the wind can be pretty strong, but well worth a visit, have a trip into Fethiye, very nice restaurants all around there.
 
Not the beach, but Fetiye itself.

Yes, about 30 years ago, so not really of much help! Be prepared for rain as well as sun in October. Not too hot though.

We always went late September or early October, so should be Okay, but be prepared. Mind you, the climate will have changed since we last went to Turkey.

Currently in turkey , lack of research has ballsed things up plus the weather , thunderstorms all week and our hotel is around 20 kms from fethiye got a few shots so far but I don’t think I’ll get to calis beach managed a few hours round the pool today though
 
I did on the last day manage to get to the nature reserve cost me 1600 lira in a taxi to ensure I I got there and got picked up .. . And well what a total disappointment there was a total of 2 little egrets ,one grey heron ,and one redshank but the worst part it was literally covered every few feet with broken bottles I gave it a hour walking round and not wanting a cut foot or worse I called it a day .totally disgusting place probably be built on in the next year or two ..
