Been there twice, 2010 & 2013, you can get the ferry from Fethiye, nice relaxing ride, I'll have a look on my PC tomorrow, and post a few photos, the wind can be pretty strong, but well worth a visit, have a trip into Fethiye, very nice restaurants all around there.

Not the beach, but Fetiye itself.

The carved temples are fun


as is the view from them



and you need to like cats...



if you can, go to a market



and so you don't worry, they have birds there too!

Yes, about 30 years ago, so not really of much help! Be prepared for rain as well as sun in October. Not too hot though.

We always went late September or early October, so should be Okay, but be prepared. Mind you, the climate will have changed since we last went to Turkey.
