Adobe Creative Cloud

Do we think these deals will be repeated in the future? History suggests they will be. I have a 20GB Creative Cloud annual subscription at just over £120. If I go for the Amazon deal I will not be able to renew the 20GB deal and do not want to have to pay £250 pa down the line.

I've merged the three threads on Adobe, Adobe Creative Cloud and Lightroom, as they overlap very significantly.

Basically, Amazon are offering discounted deals on the Adobe Photography plans, either with or without Photoshop, in the Prime Day (week?) deals.

Personally I'm debating it but seriously thinking of ditching Adobe now. I just don't use it enough where I could use Bridge for free and Affinity that I already have for editing.

I am having the same little chat with myself

Hi, some advice please.
I have the Adobe Creative Cloud and Lightroom but really never use Photoshop
I'll try stacking tomorrow when I get home from work :) fingers crossed the offer doesn't disappear
I have the Adobe cloud 20GB plan and runs out next year, I checked the Adobe website as I only want Lightroom (never really use P/S) according from I found you can buy the L/R only option but don't have to register it until you want to so and this is only as I see it you could buy as many copies as you want and save them as long as you want. Russ.

I've also got the 20gb plan. I will buy codes but won't activate until my old plan runs out in a couple of months, I don't think they allow you to extend a 20gb plan with a 1tb plan

It is worth asking the support about that.

be careful with not activating for too longer, or I believe longer than 30d specifically. Check the wording carefully.

my one runs out in late March - where do I go with that?

Yeah, when I go to checkout, I'll look for any time activation catch.

I'm hoping Amazon still do something for Black Friday too :)

The help section on Amazon states there is usually no time limit on downloads. I took well over a year with one of my previous Adobe purchases .

I contacted Amazon today about the current offers and didn’t yet very far. Contact Adobe was the conclusion.

Maximum allowed is 2 purchases (bought both). Sale apparently ends midnight. My old subscription actually ends 25th November so I've activate around that date :)

I'm gambling that they will do the same offer for Black Friday, as that is when I bought mine last year...

I went on chat support with Adobe, they said to check with seller- Amazon. When I pointed out that Amazon say check with Adobe they just said there are different conditions with deals and I should check with seller:rolleyes:

Why doesn’t this surprise me!

Ultimately Adobe control what gets loaded to your Adobe account, but as noted above Amazon have set a limit of two on the no you are allowed to buy. I expect this was set in agreement with Adobe.

I've bought 2 Lr packages at £59 each to keep going for the next 2 years. I've never used Photoshop and have no use for it. My existing plan expires 16 Dec, and will register these with Adobe just before that date..

I've bought this package to try, price is right as they say.
I wasn't sure if my DXO PL5, Affinity & NIK4 would work with the macOs 27 upgrade, however it looks like they do so I have options to choose from.
Now to suss out LRC.

Just checking - none of these offers are for 'extending' the existing 20GB Lightroom Classic / Photoshop 'Photography Plan' package? Just LR?

Correct. That package is dead & buried for a new subscription. I *think* you might be able to continue it at £120PA if you register a credit card with your Adobe account before your package expires.

Thanks. I already have a 'photography plan', but it runs out in April, so I wouldn't be 'new' - but buying another year. I know I can just continue at the £120 rate with Adobe - although not sure about registering a credit card (I don't have one), but Amazon used to do offers at £70/80 or so. Guess they have gone for good.

Did you not have to give them a payment card ref when you transferred to the annual £120 rate?

You can probably use a debit card.

What does it say on your account?

You do need to contact customer support at the time to switch to annual payments if you are currently on monthly payments (with credit) - you can't actually switch it yourself.

Probably!

That would be what I used.

Next payment April 2028 - it might be a direct debit actually!

No, I'm on an annual payment.
