Overlooking the beach at Portballintrae, on the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. Makes a fine (and alternative) walk into the famous Giants Causeway. Stop for ice cream (or a cold beer) and then return for fish and chips. A grand way to spend a summers day I say.

A Male Lion roams the edges of Dunree Head in Co.Donegal .... okay perhaps not :) Shot on the Fuji XE2 with the 10-24mm (albeit in post with a reasonably heavy crop). This is the jpeg out of camera, b+w film simulation with minor tweaks in post. I love the jpegs from the fuji x cameras...

Some detail from a river which flows through the Poison Glen in Co.Donegal ... just before we started our ascent of Errigal. The whole area is rather fantastic and certainly a place to revisit, most likely in Autumn / Winter ... in fact having now been across to Co.Donegal 3 times in the past...

Despite only about 4 hours sleep over a 3 day trip to Co.Donegal (lordy that place is incredible) I couldn't resist stopping at a favourite coastal location. Light breeze with high altitude cirrus clouds combined with coastal sand-dune reeds .. Gets me every time .. Double exposure (in camera)...
