After quite some days at filling boxes, moving boxes, and
emptying boxes, I thought I should take a break and rush
to the marsh to, at least, enjoy the glorious sunshine.

I spent shamelessly three hours with the big gun hoping for
some great action shots but all I got was the light as none
of the resident was in any kind of drive for anything.

This Tufted duck sums it well — 1, being there — 2, having
a scratch, and — 3, looking mean…

He looks to be blobbing his tongue out in the last shot Kodiak, you get days like that when all is calm with the world, they are resting ready for the days of mayhem ahead lol :)
 
I cant help but take pics of these when I see them they have such striking eyes and as you say always look angry :) number 1 for me perfect handling of them pesky whites !
 
Some good shots here. these are like robins you just cant help taking photos of them.
