Just called them... out of stock till mid August due to a manufacturing problem!!!

Robert White might have one.

Kerso also supplies them and no doubt at a good price, but he's away at the moment if you're in a hurry.

Maybe they will start making it neutral then ;)

These things do seem to be hard to get. I think the best ND filter is the Hoya X400 which is nine stops and multi-coated (B+W's ND filters are uncoated acrylic) but if you want one you'll have to import from the US - B&H stock them.

Nobody stocks them in the UK, special order only and that takes several weeks at full RRP. I asked the UK importers about this (Intro 2020) and they said there was very low demand for these filters. I told them that of course there was as you couldn't buy them! They agreed it was a chicken and egg thing, but I'm not expecting much to change

Could be a group buy?

Got mine from Kerso a couple of weeks ago, wern't listed on his website though. Does his sister not deal with any orders if he has stock?

These guys have supplied me with three 77mm B+W filters over the past two months (including the 10 stop) and are very reliable. They have the entire B+W range in their eBay store and always seem to have stock.

The one you want is only 69 quid at the moment too, which is better than a lot of other seller's prices.

Yeah, as far as I can see, it's all pukka!

I bought my first B+W filter from a different source and the other ones that came from this eBay store are all in identical packaging, with the same high quality build and great results. If they are fakes, they're bloody good ones, as they've sold thousands already with no complaints (according to their eBay feedback). The filters don't come in those swish black, leather boxes that they show in the listing, BTW, but as I said they don't some in those wherever you buy them from (they are delivered in square, translucent plastic boxes). In fact, that might even be a picture of a lens cap in the listing photo, for all I know!?

Here are mine, so that you can see the packaging:

Postage for you is Zone 1 (they call Britain "Großbritannien" ;), although in private they just refer to it as "the Island" and it's inhabitants are known as "Island Monkeys" :suspect:). So postage is 17 Euros, but that's not so bad if you are buying multiple items, as I think that it stays the same .

Anyway, it's only a suggestion - it worked OK for me .

TW, but as I said they don't some in those wherever you buy them from (they are delivered in square, translucent plastic boxes).

Thats normal, my B&W's always come like this (my 10x ND did from WHE)

I'm not buying from those Kraut Apes now :D

Well, at those prices, just maybe... ;)

Thanks Andy ! I thought that they worked too well to be fakes ;).

They actually say, "Insel Affe" (island ape), which is what I get referred to as when I've done something at work that they don't agree with or can't understand. So, it's pretty much a daily occurence :p!

( ... swings off in search of more bananas and bottoms to sniff :D)

I think B&W are German anyhow.. would be somewhat ironic if they were shipping fakes from there!

Might have a look at that seller as the prices are good :)

Indeed, Biermann (pronounced, "Beer Man" :D) and Weber are a German brand, even if they do sound like alcoholic supermen .

Of the seller, I can only say that I've dealt with them on three separate occasions and each time they delivered the correct item, quickly.

They have a regular online store, as well as the eBay shop. Sadly, it's all written in German, but if you can find your way through it, there are some pretty good deals on there :|. Here's the link:

P.S. I'm not working on comission for them, I swear ;).

On the contrary, it seems like every landscape tog* in the land is using one these days. Definitely flavour of the month.

Maybe these retailers need to get their a### in g###...

Have you looked at the Singh-Ray site? They do a variable ND filter, it can vary from 2 to 8 stops, and costs abou $400 IIRC.

* Oh my God, I've used THAT word...

You could try the Cokin or Kood P system and fit 2x4nd and a 2nd ?

I get bad enough vignetting with the single Cokin P holder on a couple of my lenses, never mind using the fat one with two filters in :|. Not to mention the light leakage issues ....

Just sayin'
