I just bought one off ebay for the massive sum of £14.50. I figured it was worth a punt :)

Does anyone have any experience in using this lens?

I bought a Hanimex 135mm f3.5 for £18 a couple of weeks ago, excellent bit of kit, very sharp and heavy but I feel like I've conned someone. It'll go nicely with my Industar 50-2 and Pentacon 2.8 29mm I picked up from LCE for a tenner.
M42 lenses are a bit of a steal!

Please check the lens very carefully when you receive it as you have been sold a Praktica PB mount lens which is unlikely to reach infinity focusing on a Canon EOS unless the focusing has been adjusted. The M42 screw mount lenses are the ones which will always work.

When you get it, focus to infinity wide open or f/4 and see whether the shot is in focus. My experience has not been good!

The lens, however, is excellent and is the last version of the auto / electric model.

I don't suppose you have any example shots from the 135 to whet my appetite do you?

I hate waiting for new toys to arrive lol.

Certainly

I'm still getting used to manual focus, and I haven't got anything interesting to shoot yet, but here's a quick one to show the DOF and the bokeh.

Got a shoot with a model on Sunday, so hopefully get some interesting shots then :)
