150-500mm Sigma Sony Mount

I have ordered one of these lenes but with the Sony mount there is no OS, could this be a problem in getting sharp photos, I want it for birds. I've seen photos from Canon and Nikon cameras but haven't seen any photos from a Sony camera.
 
Your camera has got stabilisation built in, don't need it in the lens. In any event, at 500mm you really need to use a tripod or beanbag, rather than try to hand hold.

Personally I'd try to find a Tamron 200-500 or older Sigma 50-500 rather than the 150-500.
 
Thank you both for your advice but having just seen some wonderful photos on the site www.ukdragonflies with the 70-400mm g lens I'm going to hang on for a bit and save a little more to get the above lens.
