16:10 format

Hi,

Is there a way to bulk select a set of photos and re-size to 16:10 for a digi photo frame?

resize or crop? either way it can be done with an action in photoshop qute easily, picasa will allow you to export images, but i think you can only specify one dimension and it resizes it keeping the ratio, there will be some free software, i think i remember using a microsoft powertoy that may be of help to you, but only if you're on XP

I'd do it in Lightroom.. but rather than have an automatic trim the same amount top and bottom batch preset I think I'd want to fine tune each image to the new aspect ratio.

I know one by one is the answer, but as it is for a digi frame I can't be rrsed.

The other option is to use Mogrify and Lightroom to add a left and right black vertical letterbox to bring up a 3:2 (or 4:3) to 16:9 at the same time the image is resized to the resolution of the frame.
