1D MkIV shutter count

Just about to put my MkIV up for sale. Does anyone know if I can get an accurate shutter count anywhere, apart from Canon that is.

Im 99% certain thats its been on continuous shutter count since new but would be nice to check.

Hi Mal

I'm not sure about shutteractuations.com but some of these programs only like certain browsers and operating systems.
EOScount will only work on internet explorer and it must be a 32bit system-I knew that old laptop would come in handy one day!

Hi,

Shuttercount worked for my 5D Mark III, once unzipped you just open up a small program ( which doesn't require installation - it scanned as clean with Malwarebytes and Windows Security Essentials too. ), connect your camera and then click 'connect'

It correctly gave serial number, actuations, owner, copyright info etc. This was on an AMD Quad Core PC 64bit running Windows 7.

My 5D Mark III shutter count also worked on EOSCount on the same pc so not sure if the 32bit OS only is relevant ( it does work on 64bit OS ), I think it has to be 32bit Internet Explorer though ;)

Working now, just had not noticed "Device not recognised "when plugging the usb lead in, changing to a better port cured it.

Masssive 4044 shutter count :), surprised it was not more !.
