1st Water Collision

So this is the 1st "collision" i've managed to capture. Using a Canon 40D, kit lens and on-board flash only. The only thing I've done is crop the image. Could do with a little rotation I think and a bit of sharpening. Could anyone point me in the right direction to do this please. I've got photoshop cs4 but haven't a clue where to start!! :bonk:

Loving that - colours work really well.

Any link to a decent tutorial for this type of shot?
 
I've kept a close eye on the guru's thread to be honest ;) I was pleased with this as a starting point though but I'm sure there'll be plenty of tweaking done over the next few weeks. Will look to get off camera flash soon. Any tips on the processing questions? Thanks.
