2nd Macro Outing :)

Afternoon all

After reading CT's post about high speed sync flash and macro (ty dod) I've had another go. A bit of trial and error with trying to keep a small aperture and not under exposure but didn't turn out too shabby. Flash photography isn't my strong point add to that a new lens to get my head round but the learning is still fun along the way. Not up to others standard but I think a good improovement on my first macro shots I posted yesterday.

Good shot, seems to have maintain the sharpness across most if not all of the subject, also has good exposure giving it vibrance - not easy with the variations between the dark areas of the body, looks very impressive

I'm beginning to wonder about my Sigma lens. I've been getting some good clear images but somehow that 'in your face' sharpness is missing.
