Any idea where it can be had, or a way to split 120 or similar?

Joe McGloin in the States (xkaes on Photrio) sells film slitters and says he can do custom sizes - see his Etsy site here.

What camera is it? I couldn't see any film formats that were 30mm and the only reference I found for 31mm (format 00) was for the Univex camera, for example
http://www.artdecocameras.com/cameras/univex/af-2/
This gives the film wide as 1.25 inches which converts to 31.75mm so the CamerHack splitter which gives 31mm may give a slightly narrower film but avoids a lot of waste when using 120 film.

If it’s Univex the spools seem to be different too although there is at least one 3D printed version available -

Thinking about it, I guess the DIY version could be adapted with two blades to slice a 2mm strip from the centre of 120 film giving 2 30mm strips.

As for developing, one option would be an old Johnsons of Hendon tank if you can find one cheap and some plastic tubing of a suitable size to make spacers. The original spacers have a slot in them to pass over the key on the central spindle which is there to allow one side of the reel to turn backwards and forwards (like the Paterson reels) for loading, but I don't see any reason why the spacers can't be slit straight down giving a gap rather than a slot which would make it easier to make custom ones.IMG_7226.jpegIMG_8418.jpegIMG_8419.jpeg

As standard, by altering the order of the spacers the reel could do 16mm, 35mm and 120.

The only drawback of the tank (similar to that of the Paterson System 3) is the narrow throat so it's a bit slower to fill than a System 4.IMG_7227.jpeg

I had to wait for her to have a break from work, it is an Eljy Lumiere, and she says she is fairly certain it is a 30mm film

Thanks Steve, that's a new one on me. There's some info on the submin site and your daughter is correct, it is indeed 30mm film.

Still, the DIY slitter should adapt to be able to get 2 rolls out of one roll of 120. The film shown on the above site is 8 exposure, same negative size as 35mm (24 x 36mm) so the film rolls may be quite short.

I suppose that the extra exposures account for the slightly higher price of Infra Red Ektachrome . Still a snip at only £125. :)

If you watch Grainydays' YouTube channel, you'll know he loves this stuff and is conducting some sort of hopeless attempt to get Kodak to bring it back. :D

He also went to somewhat extreme lengths to attempt to mimic the film's look using alternate methods...
