Really not sure how it happened but my 500D got what I initially thought was dust on the glass in front of the sensor. However when I looked in to clean it, it looked more like a scratch so I paid for it to be cleaned. They agreed to clean but at payment said the glass was scratched as I had already suspected. Seems sand got in
It now leaves me with upgrade decisions.
I have. Sigma 17-70 2.8 lens
Canon 50mm 1.8
Sigma 10-20mm
The obvious is to get a cheap 600d body but I don't like that flip screen at all. The 60d is a mid way house but I'm not sure it's worth the extra?
A 6D is on offer at the moment and means a jump to full frame but I'm not sure it's justified. Plus I believe the 10-20mm is only APS-C compatible?
What suggestions do people have?

(not to be confused with their Art primes)
