just started using 500px to dump some photo's and by the looks it seems a popular sight if a little optimistic in the likes department

i'm aware the sight existed but never bothered with it before i'm just wondering what others thought of it and if it's worth bothering with long term

I've been on 500px for quite a few years now.
Throughout those years I've managed to sell some of my work. I do still put stuff on there and it just ticks over in the background.
Like a lot of such sites/social media, you will get out what you put in. I don't tend to browse 500px as I would Flickr.
I would say it is worth bothering with long term. HTH

I always really like the original iPhone app, however since a few of the recent updates I have been using it less and less and possibly will migrate back to Flickr
