620 film!?

Hey all,

Does anyone know if 620 film is still available anywhere? I've read about respooling 120 film onto 620 film but that sounds like far too much effort. I've got myself an old Brownie Six-20 Model C and I wouldn't mind having a shot with this camera. Also found a Kershaw Eight-20 King Penguin and a Voigtlander Vitomatic 1c in the parents attic so it's all nostalgic photography here at the moment!

I have the same camera and had the same thought a couple of years ago. When I looked for 620 nobody had any then. The respooling thing is the only way to go, and no, I haven't done it yet.

If memory seves me 620 film and 120 film identical , however the indentation on the top of the spools differ .

Jave a sniff around and see if you can find some 620 spools, then reload the 12O film on to them,
