Hi, my tripod collapsed on last night's TP meet in Leeds.

Now, I'm going to a Scarborough meet on the 13th November and won't have a replacement.

Would any kind sole be willing to loan me a tripod to use at the meet...:).

Cheeky I know, but ideally one that can withstand a seaside meet (salt water etc).

Now I will, of course, take the utmost case of the tripod and if any damage is caused I'll replace...

Thanks in advance and I live in Leeds, so somewhere near.

NB: if you're buying a tripod....invest in a high quality one....
 
Surely if you are prepared to replace someones tripod if you damage it you can afford to buy a new one???
 
I'm too far away - but if you get really stuck can post you my monopod if you want (warning its a crap cheap one - but still better than nowt) - although that said you could probably pick one up for the price of postage :lol:
 
Have just posted on the meet thread, I have a couple of tripods and a monopod here so if I can make it down then you can use one of them :)

Ones just a hama tripod which I found in a charity shop for the grand total of £2.00 but it serves a function :D (and I'm not allowed to take the Manfrotto one to the beach anymore :shrug: )
 
Andy - you can borrow mine - no not the one you tried to run away with last night:lol:

I've got an old one - still serviceable - think it was a Jessops one. I've also got a monopod.

I'm hoping to come to Scarborough meet so will ensure I bring it.

Between Jen's and my spare you may find something useable.

I've decided to bring forward my tripod purchase....simply couldn't help myself.
