A bit nervous about this shoot...

Just about to pack the car up for the day shooting 50 pole dancers.

Not too sure what to expect so am taking almost everything, including the wife to help things run smoothly.

Sounds nice I shot a group of 20 cheerleaders and the one thing i will say it will be loud! I think luckily with girls that are in the entertainment industry will probably be more confident with just stepping in front of the camera, thats what I found anyway.

I once shot a Pole Dancer - she encouraged me to have a go, please don't though, men are just designed for it !

Well.....

In 6 hrs I shot 600 pics of 25 girls. Got to go back next weekend to shoot another 30 and video there routines for them.

Was quite stressful as they were getting into there poses and I only had a few seconds to shoot. Constantly readjusting for horizontal or vrtical compose at last second and adjusting position for different height girls.

Adjusting angles to find flattering angles was a challenge with some poses.

The studio being used as a dressing room was a slight distraction as was bits faking out of outfits.

Putting the bad points aside I think they are going to purchase quite a lot of prints and on the price list I gave options for blemish removal etc so I think they will be having them all.

I will post a couple of anonymous pics tomorrow for lighting critique.

tricky.....although it took me a good 30 secs or so to draw my eyes away from the tan line!!

I can see why you had problems with the shadows etc, a bounce flash would have helped with that but they're so dynamic it looked hard to setuP!

I suppose all you could have done was blast them with soft boxes and light flat, to try and reduce the shadows. :shrug:
