I seem to be better at the flowers than with the insects! :crying:

Heres a few with a bit of sunshine in them!

1 Osteospermum (my garden)

2 Gazania (my garden)

3 Osteospermum (RHS hyde hall)

4 Not too sure what this one is... (RHS hyde hall)

5 Osteospermum (my garden)

What a colourful set. Great detail, DoF and composition. I prefer #1 for the colour combination and that it is from your garden. I know flowers in your garden are often not perfect, but I like them more for their imperfection and that you know where they are.

Thinking of doing some flower macro myself, so always looking and learning.

Super series Richard, all have great colour and sharp detail (y)

thanks for that. I do always prefer flowers shots while they are still alive and not in a lightbox. they are always better in the ground
