Got back in the studio today with a lovely model (who it turns out I met 3 years ago, she was the one that warned my her best friend was about to bin me!) and all in I've had a very productive day, and got one tiny step closer to being some way good enough to do this for a living!

Anyone else had a good days togging?

Images from mine will be along soon!

Went to the lowry at Salford quays with the intention of getting some architectural shots..... Cold and wet conspired so we went to Marcels house :D

Went to Manchester, was windy, walked around...went home :D

I did spot a couple of chaps out taking photos, one near the big wheel, taking shots of Samuel Smiths Oyster Bar.....and the other in Piccadilly Gardens near Cafe Nero with a tripod, flash gun...and no subject what so ever!

Went up the campsie hills where i live got the car stuck sideways on the main road, got stuck in a bog right by my wellies, but did get a good shot, well one im happy with.

I went to Yeadon Tarn (anyone know it?!) and got a shot I really like.

Also had some random bloke come upto me mid exposure and say 'you photographers chase me all around the world and never leave me alone'!! Don't know who the hell he was but I didn't recognise him!!

Went over to Callander, more to look at the snow than to take pictures, but I got some that weren't too bad despite the fact everything got really soggy!

I got chatting to quite a few people though, who saw me photographing goldeneye / goosander and asking me what they were and just having a general chat about things. I like it when people take an interest.

Didn't go out today, spend the morning sorting out, altering colour temp and uploading 200 pictures out of 400 I took yesterday at Chester Zoo

Yeh I've had people stop and chat before, best one was an old man who turned out to be a local artist so knew a fair bit about photography :)

We dropped our daughter off at school after lunch for a DofE practice walk and then took the hound into the woods at Worcester Countryside Park. Had the camera inhand but the heavens opened, the wind howled and we all got absolutely soaked to the skin. To top it all I actually took a wee tumble down a muddy bank :bonk:
So no pics :(

Spiderseye, what was the weather like? I was gonna head up that way today (Lubnaig/Loch Achray) but turned back halfway round the bypass as it was a total whiteout and I didnt think it would be worth carrying on.

What did you say to him?

I managed to get out for 15 minutes yesterday.
Went to Crowland Abbey just to grab a few shots. Weather was nasty so will venture back when the weather is nicer. Got one or two shots i was happy with from preview on the back of the camera but will get them on to the computer later and process them from RAW.

Want to go to a zoo asap as i havent been to one in just under a year!

Had a good day Saturday at the SVR gala and an expensive day Sunday, took a mate to the Camera fair at Wolverhampton to get him a tele zoom, sorted that out fairly quickly and like a fool I then started browsing.Anyhow an hour later and a fair few notes lighter I am now the proud owner of a Sigma 17-35 EX lens.

And the moral is if you only want to browse leave the wallet at home
